Arpan A. Chakravarty is a Doctoral Scholar at the School of Law, Auro University, India. A gold medallist in his LLM, his expertise lies at the critical intersection of law and national security.
His professional background includes roles having assisted members of the National Security Advisory Board (NSAB). Previously, he has worked with institutions such as the India Foundation, Rashtriya Raksha University (Ministry of Home Affairs), and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
Currently, Arpan holds a Non-Resident Fellowship in National Security Studies with the Pune International Centre (PIC) and is a Fellow of the Takshashila Institution’s Network for Advanced Research on Pakistan (NASP). In 2022, he was selected for the Ministry of Defence’s flagship Defence Correspondents Course (DCC). He aspires to contribute to India’s national security policy making by combining his understanding of national politics with his fundamental grounding in law.
