All individuals associated with Bharat Ki Soch – including participants and collaborators are expected to uphold the Code of Conduct across all activities, events and online engagements.
1. Principles of Participation
We value:
Respectful Dialogue: Encourage debate, not division. Differences of opinion must be expressed courteously and constructively.
Integrity: All contributions must uphold academic honesty, authenticity and transparency.
Inclusivity: Bharat Ki Soch welcomes individuals regardless of gender, identity, religion, language, region or background.
Accountability: Every participant shares the responsibility to maintain a safe, welcoming and intellectually ethical environment.
2. Expected Conduct
All those engaged with Bharat Ki Soch are expected to:
Maintain decorum and follow instructions issued by the organizers or moderators during events, seminars or online sessions.
Use professional language and avoid personal attacks, disruptive behaviour or inappropriate comments.
Respect the confidentiality of discussions and unpublished materials.
Dress appropriately and adhere to event-specific protocols.
Abstain from the use or possession of illegal substances; alcohol consumption is discouraged during official events.
Refrain from any form of plagiarism, data falsification or intellectual misrepresentation.
3. Anti-Harassment Policy
Bharat Ki Soch maintains zero tolerance toward any form of harassment.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Sexual Harassment
Derogatory comments or gestures related to gender, religion, region, caste or disability.
Intimidation, stalking or verbal abuse.
Inappropriate or excessive photography or recording without consent.
Offensive communication in person or online.
Any person asked to stop unacceptable behaviour is expected to comply immediately. Continued misconduct may result in removal from the event, termination of association or reporting to authorities.
4. Reporting Violations
If you experience or witness any inappropriate behaviour:
Notify an organiser or senior member of Bharat Ki Soch immediately.
You may also file a written or digital complaint (anonymously if preferred). Your identity shall be kept secret.
All grievances will be reviewed confidentially and addressed promptly.
In emergencies, contact local law enforcement (Dial 100) and the organiser.
5. Commitment to a Safe and Reflective Space
We believe that Bharat Ki Soch represents not only intellectual engagement but also ethical participation.
Every member and participant carries the responsibility to:
Uphold the values of truth (satya), respect (sammaan), and responsibility (kartavya).
Promote a culture of learning inspired by India’s ancient wisdom—where dialogue is sacred and diversity of thought is strength.
6. Repercussions for Violations
Depending on the severity of the violation, Bharat Ki Soch reserves the right to:
Issue warnings or temporary suspension from activities.
Revoke participation or fellowship.
Report serious cases to relevant authorities or partner institutions.
7. Continuous Review
This Code of Conduct may be reviewed periodically to remain aligned with evolving organisational needs and ethical standards. All members will be informed of updates as and when applicable.
